Follow them on our You Tube channel and get to know the amazing Fam as they battle it out to become WICKED CHAMPIONS 🏆⚡️ First out in the series is Alfred Larsson, a talented MX1 rider from Sweden. How old are you? 23 years old Where are you from? Tibro Sweden How did your journey start to get you where you are today ? When I was 3,5 I got to try and ride a PV50 which my uncle had and when I was 4 I got my first motocross bike. I have been training and competing around Tibro since I was on a 65cc, but I never really had any talent for the sport when I was young. Instead, I liked to train and develop and I found joy in that, and finally the results came along with it. 2015 I started racing in a series called Sverigecupen which is a pre-series to qualify for the Swedish Championships. 3 years ago I managed to get a wildcard (you need to have a top 5 result in Sverigecupen) and was then ready to meet the competition in the Swedish Championships. I finally got my elit license in Årsunda. Ever since then my goal has been to get points at the Swedish Championships which I finally did this year in Uddevalla. So, hard work pays off 🙂 What bike do you ride? Honda 450 Whats your favourite thing about riding dirt bikes? I love the friendships in the sport and it’s fun to perform and develop to reach better results. What is your favourite MX track & why? I can’t really choose one but I like sand tracks the best. And the gnarlier the better! What does a normal training week look like for you? In the summer I ride 2-3 times a week. I also ride mountain bikes and run, but my focus lies on the track riding my motocross bike. I also have a full time job and need to take care of the bike in between practice and races, so time is limited. In the winter I spend more time in the gym building my body to prepare for the race season. I run a lot, both long distance and intervalls. What are your short term goals? The goal right now is to keep pushing for more points at the Swedish national series. I managed to get some points in the last two rounds and hope to be able to do so again at the next race. What are your goals for the future? My long term goal is to try to reach a top position in the Swedish Championships, but above all I want to become as good as I can get with the hard work I put in and without loosing the joy and happiness I feel for the sport. What would you say is most important to succeed, besides hard work? Always push yourself a bit harder by training and competing with riders that are a bit better than you. For me, it is also really important to have fun along the way and I think that is one reasons why I still after 20 years become even better. I don’t want the requirements to succeed to make me feel bad. What song do you have on repeat? Right now, MEMORIES! With 347aidan What phrase would describe you best? Don’t worry, be happy! What next from here? Keep up the work I put in to prepare for the next Swedish Championship round.
